| im still in a state of shock. went to the strip today wanting to just test out a new waterpump, and make sure the car was up to par for the race next weekend. i knew it would be possible to get close to 9's maybe a 9.90 or somthing, but i never imagined what it would run on my 2nd pass of the day.
car is still using completely stock heads, stock cams, and i still have 6-8psi of boost to play with, not to mention a box of nitrous jets :) lot of potential left, barring i dont lift the heads. this run was on a 150shot spraying the whole pass. i left at around 20psi and 4900 rpm ;) i also ran a 9.7, 9.5, and fubarred another pass where i spun the whole track (to much tire pressure, stupid mistake lol) regardless its definately a mid to low 9's car in this air. big thanks to russel@z1 for making all this possible with his parts and tuning. he has some video of some of the passes today. he failed to get the 9.4 pass, but he did get my other passes all in the 9's. woohoo
